The series Jobs, produced for Okoo / France Télévisions and TV5 Monde, offers children a lively and playful introduction to everyday professions. Through the eyes of Bernard, a curious nine-year-old, each short episode will explore a job in under two minutes, blending humor with pedagogy.
With 52 episodes, divided into 11 main professional categories, the series embraces an ambitious educational goal: to spark children’s curiosity, give them a first look at the diversity of the professional world, and ensure strict gender parity in how each job is represented.
Designed for children aged 6 to 10, Jobs relies on the power of the short format: direct, dynamic, and easy to grasp. While the tone is light, the intention is clear — to showcase the richness of everyday jobs without slipping into heavy-handed explanations.
The project also stands out for its unique graphic construction, inspired by the world of Playmobil toys: all characters share the same basic design, and it is the accessories and outfits that differentiate them. This simple yet clever system creates a rich universe full of variety and inspire a playful sense of collectibility, encouraging children to discover and “collect” every profession.
